How to Step Out of Your Comfort Zone | #20

Summary

What if your comfort zone wasn’t a big red circle that you pushed wider and wider? What if it was more like a cozy home where you did some DIY projects in one room at a time, made them livable, and then moved on and did something else in another area?

This episode is all about expanding our comfort zones and what stops us from doing it in the first place. Facing the fear of failure, rejection, and shame keeps us hanging out in situations that are stagnant or even unhealthy, but I’ve got some tips to expand your comfort zone and try new things.

Stepping outside your comfort zone is where GROWTH is. It’s where you learn how to cope with discomfort, which will help you in infinite life situations. But we don’t always have to be growing. It’s okay to stay cozy for a while so you can make your next move. But don’t let the fear stop you from ever growing!

If fear of making a mistake keeps you from trying new things, revisit Episode 9: Perfectionism is the Enemy.
