How to Hold Yourself Accountable | #13

Summary

We’re back for season two of Run Like Hell Toward Happy! HUGE THANKS to everyone who has listened, subscribed, and left reviews. Remember that there’s a giveaway for reviewers in my Facebook group. Join the group for the details!

In this episode we’re going to talk about accountability and followthrough… but also giving yourself grace and knowing when to dial back and work on reducing that hustle mentality. By the end of this episode you will understand how to balance self forgiveness with actual accountability to the goals you set.

As you’re learning to hold yourself accountable, there’s a lot of trial and error. For the first ninety days working toward a new goal, give yourself grace to find the balance between work, life, play, and rest. And give yourself plenty of time and space to unpack the mindset blocks that are getting in the way of your success — like self sabotage, imposter syndrome, and hustle culture.

Listen to this episode to find out more about my three questions to ask yourself when deciding between grace and accountability:

How long have you been working on this goal?

How do you feel in your body?

Is this a pattern?

If you get distracted by your new ideas and abandon the things you’re working on, listen to How to Avoid Shiny Object Syndrome.
