What We Get Wrong About SMART Goals | #7

Summary

We think setting goals is easy: they should be SMART! Specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time bound. But we tend to just focus on time bound and think we’re total failures if we don’t achieve the goal in the allotted time. Goals are made up! You can adjust them as you go and get data about what you need to achieve them, including more time or changing the measure of your success. In this episode we talk about how to adjust your approach to goal setting so you can avoid negative beliefs about yourself when you miss the mark.
